New Year's Eve fashionable appetizers!

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Fashionable Star Appetizers!
They're tasty, nice to see and easy to cook!

what you need:
  • chicken wurstels
  • soft cheese, a not-too-savory one (or it will be too salty)
  • sandwich bread

Cut the bread with a star cutter (the one you use for cutting biscuits! And you can do it also with differents cutters, different shapes!).
Prepare the cream whipping wurstels and cheese in a mixer, then put a small part of it between two stars (quite poetic, isn't it? LOL).
Finally put a olive on it with a stick and add some cream into the olive too, if you have time, but it really doesn't matter -trust me.

Good luck tryin',
Have a wonderful New Year!
(and don't miss the next post about bags and clutches!)

Hometown tourism.

During Christmas time, I decided to go to Pisa (wich is just 25minutes far from where I live, by train) and do some tourist-ish things. Actually I didn't visit the Tower, but I had a long walk along the river and then visited the exposition of the amazing artist Joan Mirò.

Of course I couldn't take photos of his works, but I swear they're amazing.
And I thought I'd really die to have a dress with one of his painting stamp on.

they decorated a huge Xmas tree with some part of his works. Those decorations are to die for!

Winter Captions

Today is the first day of winter,
but Italy is already snowy. And it's beautiful, but not so easy to deal with.

there was snow in my garden (and I live by the sea)

and in my street, too

and finally on my Docs.

It's so hard to smoke in the snow, that I almost gave up smoking since last September!
(it's very easy for me to quit, 'cos I only smoke in summer, when I can easily stop smelling like cigarettes and not when smell invades my clothes permanently!)

Have a nice Winter, everybody!
And Happy Holidays!

Decadent Christmas.

Decadent Christmas

Decadent Christmas di Kikki_RiotDyke contenente studded jewelry

Is your Christmas going to be decadent?
According to Topshop (" Dress up and get Decadent this Christmas "), this year's trend will be "a touch of decadentism" , that means that you girls (and me too) can adorne yourselves with lace, faux leather and pearls!
Add some metal details, such as some studded jewelry, that make a lovely contrast with the elegance of the lace and gives you a more modern look.

And I think that there can't be a decadent outfit without some "femme fatale" touch, so get the darkest red lipstick you could ever imagine and some lace lingerie in a nude tone, then you will be totally perfect for that special day.

Happy Holidays!

Christopher Kane Resort 2011, lest we forget.

I know that many fashion bloggers have already written about this, but I don't give a sh*t.

Lest we forget: I need something, anything, in a cosmic pattern.
That's what I'm wishing for the New Year, although I know that the cosmic trend has already passed by, but, again, I don't give a sh*t.

And this collection by Christopher Kane is the most beautiful example of how our cosmo (and all the nature as well) can be really fascinating.

You can smell Holidays.

I'm really tired.
I just need some time to spend with my love, my friends, my family (in a relaxed mood, possibly) and my-damn-self.
And my grandma's b-day, on the 8th of December, gives me even more will of Holidays.
Every year, I start smelling holidays from that day.
Also 'cos we always celebrate it in the house on the mountain.

"Do you really need to carry that smelly dog with you like...always?" I'm sorry kitty, I do. You will need to wait outside today.

Me and my dog, the most innocent and lovely creature in the world.
I swear I'm not squeezing him, but he doesn't like to be hugged anyway.

If you wanna get with me, there's something you gotta know... [Fashion and Music]

I'm really totally in love with this song
and with DEV, of course.
She is related with the amazing american brand "HELLZ BELLZ", as you can see in her video "Bouty Bounce", where she's wearing lots of Hellz outfits.
You might hear her also with the Cataracs and in "Like a G6" featuring Far East Movement.

Outfit of the Week: let it snow.

This week's best outfit is this "snow-won't-scare-us" look!
I love that maxi scarf, that lovely hat and that amazing brow coat, matching with the gloves and the shoes, too.

This winter is going to be dominated by wool and/or faux-furs.

I'm the biggest supporter of wool coat, wool accessories exc..., but you will not ever see me wearing wool too close to my skin, such as cardigan or something similar, do not ask me why.

This is the sound of Ebony Bones.

I went with some friends of mine to a disco not so far from home, called Seven Apples, wich is not really my favourite kind of discos (considering that generally I do not love discos, I prefer livehouse, pubs, or places where you can listen to some good live dj sessions) just to see Miss Bones from Ebony Bones performing as a dj, from Ministry of Sound, LDN.

Some might know her because she played for Jean Charles De Castelbajac in one of his most famous show, others, well, just might know her sound!

Anyway, I had an amazing night and considering that we were the only ones standing there just to see her, she was in close contact with us! I really loved that night.

(Ebony Bones is wearing a blazer by Jean Charles De Castelbajac JC/DC.
I'm wearing a dress by H&M and tights from We Love Colors - won in a giveaway
.)
