I learned something...

After some experiences, I actually learned something (this usually doesn't happen, LOL):
you can wear a dark brown lipstick on a floral pattern to contrast and get it a bit more "edgy", and you can wear a bright-pink or purple one on total black, instead of a classical and normal red lipstick.
(as the lovely Alice Glass - lead singer of the band Crystal Castles - does.)

Totally agreed! I always have been inspired by wednesday adams. She can pull off the whole edgy grunge goth look with all black, but I can tottaly picture her wearing the brightest lipstick! And the darkest lipstick aswell. My mom just picked me up a super dark lipstick from mac..I was a bit embarrassed to wear it at first because it literally looks like dark blood and I didnt want to be seen as a vampire (haha!) but you have inspired me. Love your blog, have a great week!! xx

This is such a cool post, I love Crystal Castles. The juxtaposition between a bold lip colour and black clothing is impeccable x
