Moving to Florence

I think I won't be able to blog for a while, again. :(
Well, at least my luggage is cute.

I've been so busy lately, really TOO busy:
-studying to pass my marketing exams to be able to join the Polimoda Fashion Institute in Florence
-taking that holy exam
-celebrating the fact that I successfully passed it (I was the only one, between the 25guys that took the exams with me that morning, that achieved such a high score that immediately passed, hell yeah!)

And then...moving to Florence.
The flat is a mess, it is all covered in dust, but me and my roommates will break our backs and do our best to make it liveable.
Not to mention that I'm super sad of having to leave...even if I'm just 2hours far from home, by train.

My life's gonna change and I might not be ready.
Anyway...fashion world, here I come! This is gonna be hard, though.

Uhm...let's celebrate again, first! (I'm sorry, I took those photos with my webcam)

Barefoot Tonight

I can't wait to spend my evening drinking cocktails on the beach, barefoot.
Enough said! :)

Styling a Miss.

Last week my friend Giulia decided to participate in a beauty contest, so I helped her with mak-up, hair and clothes: I was her stylist!

Girls from all over Italy participated and Giulia passed the first selection, but then she didn't win the crown. Anyway she was the one with the best and bigger fans club!

<-- her "elegant" oufit.
Dress from her wardrobe, my rose bracelet and key necklace, from New Look.

And here's Giulia with number10 (the second on the left) during the "casual outfit" part of the contest, with other gils that were participating:
wearing ankle boots, basic white t-shirt and vintage jeans jacket from her wardrobe, my golden chains from H&M and vintage brown bandana.
I also managed to look after every detail, so I did her a nail-art too, using H&M cracked nailpolish and a simple gray one from Essence:

Too bad that she din't win, but it was a very funny and crazy night so we enjoyed it anyway!

I'm DIYed and I'm back

(that's not an artistic photo, it'ts just that my face was a total mess, believe me.)

Ok so I already know that I passed my exam, but now I'm waiting for the results...finger crossed!

The things I know for sure is that I had a lot of free time and lots of parties. Hell yeah, I needed it so much.
But I'm thinking about my future, too, because now that I have finished school I want to find out wich university suits me best... and I dreamed about studying at Polimoda in Florence since I was a child, but that's really expensive. We'll see.

More free time = more DIYs.
So, since I spotted some beautiful feather earrings everywhere but I couldn't really find a pair in store, I made them!
I used some super-fake black feathers (no innocent chickens involved!), a little chain and a empty earring base that you can find in any craft store or similar.

It's very simple, 'cos I thought it was already something quite big and important itself, so I didn't want to let it become "too much".
Maybe you can see it better down here:

Not inspired yet? Have a look here:
Ok I wasn't inspired by Gwyneth, or Vanessa Hudgens

but by this girl right here, the queen of all the feather earrings, the one that maybe made people talk about them, the beautiful and creative Romi from the Showtime series "The Real L Word":

One day I'll create an earring even bigger than hers!

Have a nice week!

Off for a while

I'll be absent for a while, like just two weeks, I think...
just two words: FINAL EXAMS.   So frightening.
I'm graduating, I'll be done with high school in a few weeks! But first I have to do my last sacrifice: disappear from the whole word and study hard. 'Cos in Italy you don't have a huge party for your graduation, but you have a huge exam instead, which is not just a tradition because you really may fail it and have to repeat your last year of school. HELL NO! I HAVE TO PASS IT.

I'll be missing you all,
wish me luck!

And this is the last photo of me "alive", during my last night out (my b-day, too) before studying.
If I disappear forever, could you use this pic for my "missing" leaflet, pretty please?

...but I'm still in love with Judas, baby. ♫

Finally, tonight, my favourite location for having a blast in the weekend opens.
It's called "Mamamia" and it just 30minutes far from me, by car. This isn't just a club, it's also a family, or a place to be whenever you feel bored, it's SUMMER. Tonight, indeed, it's officialy the first summer night for me.

Can you tell that I'm happy?
I can really smell summer from down here.

And just to prove you my insanity, here's some photos of the outfit I'm going to wear tonight, that I tried on last night to be perfectly prepared.
I thought about it a week ago and yesterday I tried on some make-up too...yes, I'm THAT kind of girl that freaks out if she doesn't have everything's ready at least the night before the event.

(H&M oversized shirt, H&M "purse" bag, black hat with a lace insert that I added DIY)

And I expect a lot of Gaga tonight, I mean, at least "Born this way" if it's not "Judas". Can't wait. Have a great weekend, guys! Love to ya all.

Save some money for...H&M Conscious Collection 2011

THIS is the dress I MUST buy this time around. If you're in Florence the 14th of Aprile, be scared 'cos you will see me hunting hard. HARDCORE SHOPPING, bitc**s!

ATTENTION!
[F***K, I WAS IN FLORENCE YESTERDAY AND I DISCOVERED THAT THEY DON'T ACTUALLY SELL THIS DRESS IN ITALY, AND SO THEY DO WITH THE POWDER-PINK BLAZER AND SHORTS! IDK WHY, THEY WERE JUST THE ITEMS I WANTED TO BUY!
I'M SO SAD.]
[ITA: oh, metà di questi modelli non sono arrivati e non arriveranno MAI in Italia! Proprio i più belli - a mio parere! Super tristezza.]

As you may already know, H&M has announced this new Conscious Collection, wich is made of 100% organic cotton, recycled and nature-caring, that's why the collection will be in store on the 17th of April wich is the official "Day Of the Earth". The prices will be less expensive than the usual organic items of H&M normal collections, they say.
Is there something better than buy beautiful unexpensive clothes that help saving our planet?
And if you're still not totally convinced, have a look at my other favourites items:
